Loved by our Kynfolk, our Dree coat brings an understated elegance to everyday dressing. Crafted in Portugal from a considered mix of undyed European flax linen and responsibly sourced wool and finished with a silky Cupro lining that glides over layers, Dree feels as good as it looks – lightweight yet structured, timeless yet contemporary.
Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Dree.
DESIGN
Every detail of Dree is deliberate, from its sculptural cut to its iconic faux pearl-studded shoulder embellishment, which adds an elevated and memorable detail.
The self-tie belt offers versatility in styling: leave it open for an undone, robe-like silhouette, or cinch it in to accentuate the waist for a sharper, more tailored shape. This versatility makes Dree ideal for layering across shifting seasons and settings, the perfect elevated cover up to take you from day to night.
CRAFTSMANSHIP
Crafted at our partner atelier in the north of Portugal, Dree is made from the union of two natural, undyed fibres: European flax linen and responsible wool – fibres chosen not only for their environmental credentials but also for their performance and handfeel.
The linen lends crispness and lightness, while the wool adds structure and resilience, allowing Dree to maintain its tailored form without stiffness. The result is a fabric that wears well, drapes beautifully, and doesn’t crease easily.
Because both fibres are undyed, Dree showcases the raw, unaltered colour of the yarn – a soft grey tone that reflects the purity of the natural materials, with no artificial dyes or treatments.
